District Partners
One of the driving forces behind ESD-U is the partnership with districts in the ESD 112 region to recruit existing district employees into the program. For the 2023-2024 cohort, we have started partnering with districts outside of the ESD 112 region with the goal reaching all districts across the entire state of Washington.
Grow your own teachers
ESD-U supports a “grow your own” partnership with local districts and is designed so individuals working in schools can use their regular position to fulfill part of the field experience requirement. Districts not listed below are encouraged to reach out and partner with ESD-U to refer current district employees who would be a good fit for the program. By partnering together, we can ensure that all Washington school districts have the teachers that they need.
